An Estee Lauder Gift

Hi chums!

Today I am doing a joint blog and video on my Youtube Channel so here it is if you would like to check it out.

For Christmas I got given the Estee Lauder Christmas gift. I couldn't have been more happy and excited when I opened it because I am a huge fan of Estee Lauder!

As well as all the make up and skin care products it included the amazing red bag which you can see in the picture above and also a smaller make up bag. I am so in love with the bags because the red is so pretty and it also reminds me of the adverts with Kendall Jenner wearing her red suit (and who doesn't love her, right?!)

The gift included so many amazing items so I'm just going to run through a few of my particular favourites which I have been using a lot at the moment! The first one is the the limited edition all over shimmer. This gives such a warm glow to the face whilst adding some sparkle and shimmer!

The next item which I'm obsessed with is this little bottle of Modern Muse perfume. It is a perfect sized bottle to keep in your handbag and top up during the day and the scent is really fresh!

The gift included 3 lipsticks and 2 lipglosses. The two lipsticks I'm particularly loving at the moment are Pink Parfait and Tiger Eye and I quite like the effect of the two mixed together.

The eyeshadow palette that came in the gift is a mix of nudes, pinks and purples and so you can really dress up/down the eye depending on what look you're going for. There's a lot of room for a variety of eye looks in this palette and recently I've been using it a lot!

I use Estee Lauder Resilience Lift cream just for my eyes because I have a different moisturiser for my face, but I have been using this twice a day since I got it and have found that it works really well with my skin. It rubs in well and is really hydrating so I really can't recommend this enough!

I am so grateful to my parents for getting me this gift because it has so many lovely products and is definitely already well-loved!

The gifts are no longer available but all of the products are of course on the Estee Lauder website.

My Two Biggest Inspirations

Hi chums!

Today I wanted to write a post about two people who are my biggest inspirations (obviously apart from my family who inspire me everyday!) I think it's really important to have an inspiration and someone to admire and I wanted to share with you mine.

The first person is someone who I have admired for a long time, but particularly in the last few years when I found out more and more about them. That person is Walt Disney. A lot of people laugh when I say Walt Disney and say they love Disney. I don't doubt their love for Disney because I think you'd have to be crazy not to but when I say Disney I mean the man himself.

He came from such a humble background and created and built things and places which make millions of people happy. His animations and movies are so well known and Mickey Mouse is probably the most recognised cartoon in the world.

The reason why I admire him so much is his philosophy. He never lost sight of what he was trying to achieve: to make a place for the whole family to have fun together. He encourages people to believe in their dreams and have such high aspirations. For me, this is so important and inspires me so much.

This summer, as I have posted about before, I went to Florida for Christmas and was fortunate enough to go to Disney's Hollywood Studios. They had a new attraction there which was a mini museum dedicated to Walt Disney. I enjoyed so much walking through and learning lots of things I had never read before.

My next inspiration is a bit of a contrast to Walt Disney and her name is Karlie Kloss. I few years ago if you had asked me who Karlie Kloss was, I wouldn't have been able to tell you. That soon changed and she has quickly become one of my favourite celebrities.

Last year she started her YouTube channel called Klossy. It takes no time at all when watching one of these videos to see why she is one of my two biggest inspirations. She is so positive, happy and genuine. She seems like she is comfortable to go with the flow (something which I can only aspire to) and it's no wonder she is so popular! Karlie is such a hugely successful model but she still is so humble which is why I have so much admiration for her.

I wanted to write this post because I am so motivated for 2016 and excited about what is to come! Being inspired by people is what keeps me motivated and I'm sure you all have your own inspirations who you love to follow on social media or maybe it's one of your closest friends or family members. Either way I hope you have had a great start to the new year so far and wish you all the best!

This is one of my favourite Walt Disney quotes I wanted to leave you with:

'All of our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them'

Let me know who your biggest inspirations are in the comments below!

Florida Christmas Lookbook

Hi chums!

As you already know if you have read previous posts, I have spent my Christmas holidays in Florida. I'm not sure if it still counts as a lookbook if it's on a blog but I wanted to share with you my outfits from the trip. Unfortunately not all my pieces of clothing are available now because I bought some of them a while ago but I will link similar pieces I find down below.

These photos were taken at the beautiful location of Disney's Grand Floridian Hotel which has it's own man-made beach. I absolutely loved the white buildings with red roofs with the palm trees by the side of the lake - a blogger's dream!

Outfit: Top, Shorts, Shoes

Location: Disney's Grand Floridian Hotel

Inside the hotel is an absolutely massive gingerbread house which they build every year and whilst wondering around the lobby there is live piano music with a mixture of Disney and Christmas songs which was so cute and festive!

Now to my favourite place in the world: Magic Kingdom!

Outfit: Top (seasonal but here is one I also like), Shorts, Shoes

From Magic Kingdom to Busch Gardens!

Outfit: Top, Shorts

After running around all the theme parks it's nice to have a bit of a rest and one of the perfect places to go is Downtown Celebration. This is a small town owned by Disney and is set out in such a cute, colourful, old-fashioned way! It's such a lovely place to go and we went and had breakfast here, sitting outside and overlooking the lake - picture perfect!

Outfit: Top, Harems, Shoes

Location: Disney's Town of Celebration

The last look I want to share is an evening outfit I wore when I went for dinner (and of course the odd bit of shopping!) at the Mall at Millenia. It feels so upmarket and the Christmas decorations were amazing!

Outfit: Playsuit, Shoes, Necklace, Bag

Thank you so much for reading this post, I had so much fun putting it together and hopefully will be doing another lookbook soon!

New Year's Eve Celebrations

Hi chums!

This year I am lucky enough to be spending my Christmas holidays in Florida and am also spending new year here. To celebrate I went to a restaurant with my family called Bahama Breeze and it is such a nice place to go - there is even live reggae music if that's what lights your candle!

I find new year so motivating and I love making new aims and resolutions so I am really excited for 2016!

I filmed a get ready with me video for my YouTube channel so I will post the link and you will be able to find all the make up and outfit details there:

I have loved writing my blog in 2015 and can't believe it has almost been a year since I started. I am planning to do lots more blogging in 2016 and want to thank anyone who has read any of my blog posts so far!

Happy New Year chums!
